As always, we can’t deliver an exciting and fun-filled festival without the help of our elite team of volunteers! Volunteering for the Nottingham Festival of Science & Curiosity is an all-encompassing experience where you’ll get to meet fascinating people and be involved in all sorts of curious activities. For 2018, we’re looking for:

Festival Stewards

As a Festival Steward, you’ll be based in and around Nottingham city centre on our super packed, Curious City day, Saturday 17th February. Here you’ll be working in teams on the festival info stand on Smithy Row talking to curious passers-by and directing them towards all the fun. You’ll also be out be doing some science busking in festival venues and in the streets! Don’t worry, we’ll be teaching you how to ‘sci-busk’.

Arguably one of the most important festival roles! The job of our evaluators will be to mingle with and chat to all sorts of people who attend festival events and find out what they think.

Activity & Event Assistants

Some of our events and activities require a few extra hands to help them run smoothly. As an Activity & Event Assistant, your job will be to provide hands-on support one of the many activities being run across the festival (most taking place on Saturday 17th February), as well as managing ticketing and stage-hand duties at one or more of our Curious Lates evening events running between Wednesday 14th and Wednesday 21st February.

Applications to volunteer are now closed.
